The weekday tying method Rabbi Sofer personally uses is as follows, with regular Ashkenazi Winds and 7-8-11-13:
7: 3 W 4 B
8: 3 W 5 B
11: 5 W 6 B
13: 6 B 7 W
His rationale is as follows: He wants the Techeiles to have more Chashivus than the lavan chulyos, but for the last set he reverses it so the white neutralizes the Techeiles in a sense (something to avoid embarassing the Lavan etc.).
