Hi, I’m Rafi Hecht. I’ve known about the mitzvah of Techeiles for over 20 years, but it wasn’t until 2017, during a trip to Israel, that I finally took the plunge and bought a couple of sets. Even then, I held off for about six weeks, diving into serious research, speaking with Gedolim and Rabbanim, and weighing their insights before committing to wearing them.
Professionally, I’ve been in web development and programming for the past two decades. I earned my B.S. in Management Information Systems from Touro’s Lander College for Men in 2005, followed by an M.S. in Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2013.
