Rav Rimon, what’s preferred tying method for Techeilet?
Hello Rabbi Gelman, this law is not decided. Many times we asked Moreinu HaRav Lichtenstein ZT”L, and did not give an answer. And afterwards, sometimes we decided one way and sometimes in another.
It’s possibly logical to tie Rambam, but to add two knots at the beginning and two at the end, and thus one certainly fulfill the obligation of the plain Halacha, as the Mishnah Berurah has clearly decided, that if there are two knots, at least three winds, and two additional knots, they certainly are fulfill the obligation and may even make a Bracha.
Wishing you a good and happy Shabbat BeEzrat Hashem
