I had the zechus to see the kuntres “The Return of Techeiles to Klal Yisroel,” prepared by the special and esteemed yungerman, a true ben Torah, Rav Mordechai Appel, shlit”a, from the Ir HaKodesh, Yerushalayim, tivaneh v’sikonein.

I went through the sefer as much as time allowed, and I saw that he was zocheh to be mevarer in a strong way the identification of Techeiles—the same Techeiles that was used in the times of Chazal, back when the Beis HaMikdash stood and Klal Yisroel was in its full glory. For this great accomplishment, I say: “Ayei’sher Ko’ach! Keep being marbeh Torah!”

I give him a bracha that his efforts should be matzliach, and that he should be zocheh to truly be machzir atarah l’yoshnah. May we be zocheh to see, with our very own eyes, the Geulah Sheleimah, when Hashem brings us back to Tzion with rachamim, and the Kohen Gadol will once again serve in the Beis HaMikdash, wearing the Me’il Techeiles. May our eyes behold it and rejoice!
