Here: MB 9:16 and Beur Halachah 11 (s.v. לא יטיל) mention the custom to have blue stripes at the ends of the Tallis, but not the idea that these are to remember the Techeiles.
MB 9:16 (https://www.sefaria.org/Mishnah_Berurah.9.16?lang=bi):
Even for colored garments – Nevertheless, it is fitting for [one who is] particular to specifically make the four corners or the small טלית white in order to fulfill all [opinions] when he makes the ציצית strings white… and also because it is written “His garment is white like snow” (Daniel 7:9). And [regarding] what [we find] that the edge of the garment is like [the color of] תכלת on our טליתות, [this does not pose a problem since it’s] after the main [portion] of the garment [that] we go after (and the colored portion here is not the main part of the garment).
Biur Halacha (https://www.sefaria.org/Shulchan_Arukh%2C_Orach_Chayim.11.11?lang=bi&with=Biur%20Halacha&lang2=en):
SA:
If the corner is what we call an אורילייזא and is wide, Tzitzit shouldn’t be put on it. If one put Tzitzit on the garment, it is invalid since it is written “on the corner of your garments” and this is not considered from the garment. Rather, there must remain at least the measuremt of joint of the thumb and not farther than 3 fingers since the hole must be in the garment. [It is good to measure the joint of the thumb without including the fringes while measuring the 3 fingers including the fringe.]
[Tzitzis] shouldn’t be put on it – and garments that have at the edge of the clothing woven in the manner of Techeiles and doubled strings, this is not an edge but rather the actual garment itself [Pri Megadim].
