The color of תכלת is called Yakintos

In the Roman decrees discussed above, the word “hycinthina” is used to describe the color of the Murex dye that they restricted/banned. This is the exact same word used by the Septuagint ( (תרגום השבעים and other Targumim to translate תכלת in the Torah. The word in Greek is – υάκινθος – yakίnthos .
